Writer/Director Todd Solondz Teaches Master Class at Tisch Asia

Award winning writer/director Todd Solondz will visit NYU Tisch School of the Arts Asia for the school’s first Master Class Series, 17-21 March 2008.

"The master class series is one way Tisch Asia students work with and learn directly from esteemed professionals," Pari Sara Shirazi, President of Tisch Asia, said. "Todd - a Tisch Alumnus - is a critically-acclaimed pioneer of independent film. He will share with Tisch Asia students his unique perspective and experience as a filmmaker during his week-long master class."

Mr. Solondz, an alumnus of Tisch School of the Arts, is the writer/director of "Welcome to the Dollhouse", "Happiness", "Storytelling", and "Palindromes". His artistic achievements have been recognized at the Cannes Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, Golden Globes, Independent Spirit Awards, Venice Film Festival, and Berlin International Film Festival.
