Biography

Liz Lander was born and trained in the UK. She relocated to Singapore with her family in 2009.

After a first degree in Biology, Liz found her true passion in design for film, TV and theatre and completed a second BA at Wimbledon School of Art, London UK.

Eight years of professional freelance practice followed, during which Liz worked as a Designer and Art Director across a wide range of genres including drama, comedy and entertainment. Day to day work ranged from recreating the Oval Office at the White House to an imaginary kitchen on the Deathstar.

Liz' talent lies in creating cohesive visual narratives that support a Director's vision and translate it into practical reality, working to make the most of available time, budget and resources.

Honors and Awards for projects to which Liz contributed include "The Kumars at No 42" (International Emmy winner - Popular Arts 2002, British Comedy Awards - Best New Comedy 2002), "History File" (BAFTA Education Award winner 2001), "Smack The Pony" (International Emmy winner - Popular Arts 2000) and "Short Circuit" (RTS Education Award winner 1997).

Liz currently combines motherhood with teaching.
