Amos Katz Assistant Arts Professor Tisch Asia

Biography

Amos teaches the cinematography (Motion Picture Camera Techniques II) at Tisch Asia and has worked with Robert Primes, ASC, Matt Siegel, Steve Fierberg, ASC, Tony Jannelli, amongst other DPs. He was the Director of Photography of  “WIANBU” which was nominated for 2008 Student Academy Award for Best Short and got Honorable Mention for Cinematography at the Sehsüchte International Film Festival in Potsdam-Babelsburg, Germany. Amos directed a short “M ET M” that was screened at the Avignon Film Festival in France and the Santa Fe Film Festival in the United States.
