The production studio is dedicated to collaborative projects: developing personal voices and leadership. Students are involved in collaborative projects where they can experiment with various styles of animation including photo-realistic, cel to 2D, paper-cut - using lighting, textures, compositing, color-manipulation. Students then create a production process and a workflow. This class also addresses the production management side of animation. Students discover ways to map out the most efficient ways to transform a storyboard into the final work. Topics covered include allocating resources, setting timelines and incorporating feedback from the group.
