Housing
Students at NYU Tisch School of the Arts Asia are responsible for securing their own housing in Singapore. Options are available for both short-term and long-term accommodations, and students accepted into the program will be given detailed information about housing agencies and roommate matching forums.
Long-Term Accommodations
Apartments in Singapore ranging from studio units to multiple bedroom units can be found in nearly every district of the city. Students seeking to live in the vicinity of the Tisch Asia campus should consider the Districts 9 and 10 of the city. Accepted students will receive a list of accredited realtors. Note that students who are not citizens or permanent residents of Singapore will have to secure their student pass before arranging for long term housing in Singapore.
Short-Term, Hotels & Hostels
Students may wish to make arrangements for temporary or short-term accommodations in Singapore upon their arrival in the country. This may prove helpful while searching for a longer-term solution. There are a number of options available, from hotels, to hostels, to international student dormitories. More information will be provided to students accepted to Tisch Asia.
