Biography

Kalene Dunsmoor received her B.F.A. specialized honors, Fine Arts, Visual Arts, from York University.  She attended the Academy of Realist Art for painting and drawing and received a postgraduate diploma in 3D Animation and Design for Broadcast Production from Humber College.  She worked as an instructor for the Drawing and Life Drawing Classes at the Academy of Realist Art and as a freelance artist before joining ILM Singapore, a division of Lucasfilm Animation Singapore in January 2007. ILM Singapore works with Industrial Light & Magic based in California, on visual effects for feature films.

As a digital artist, Kalene has had experience in working different roles: as compositor, texture artist and matte painter. Her work credits include both Transformers & Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Iron Man, Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull, Star Trek, and Terminator Salvation.
