Designed to give cinematography majors practical and artistic experience in preparing for their professional careers as directors of photography. An intensive hands-on shooting experience; projects are shot and lit on the soundstage and on location while employing numerous exposure techniques. A team of two students (operator and gaffer) design a scene each week. All students must serve as key grip, gaffer, and AC on each other’s projects.
