The course focuses first on the study of the long form screenplay; out of class students develop an idea for a feature that the students write in their 3rd year.  The second half of the course focuses on developing the material for the thesis script's execution.  Students come out of the process with an initial draft of the thesis script written so the student can continue to write the script over the summer and have it ready for the beginning of the fall semester.  The goal for this course is to help students develop thesis projects and acquire advanced screenwriting skills.
