The fall semester begins with an intensive multi-day writing boot camp in which the first draft (written over the previous summer) of a 10-minute short film script is reviewed and work-shopped. Students discuss and strategize the rewrite in preparation for the subsequent seven weeks of course work in the development of the final draft of the second-year script through class readings and in private consultations with the instructor.
