Interactive 3D

ANDA-GT.2128.901       4 Credits

Instructor: Emil Polyak

Students start designing basic animated characters that can be controlled with joystick, sound, video and from sensors located in the real world. The course focuses on speed-prototyping of simple 3D animations. Students gradually develop more layers for their projects that will provide interactive animation, navigation inside a story, ways of seeing the world, and playfulness. We will design simple virtual worlds for interactive storytelling including video games, immersive learning, and collaborative work and will address the tools needed to produce virtual worlds.
